Delivery

The majority of our products are sold with no home assembly needed, however on occasions to aid in delivery or to avoid damage, we have deemed it best that certain items will need minimal home assembly to protect the item in carriage. Items needing minimal home assembly will be clearly identified prior to sending the item.

Prior to delivery, please ensure your new piece of furniture will fit through doorways and tight turns, up staircases and underneath ceilings, and if door frames, windows or banisters needs to be removed to get it in, that you do this before everything arrives. If the item of furniture is unable to fit, we reserve our right to leave the item in a place of your choosing so you can make the necessary arrangements to install the furniture yourself, in your premises.

While we always do our very best to make sure your order is delivered on the day, we say it will be, very rarely unforeseen delays can happen. It goes without saying that we’ll reschedule as soon as possible.

We understand that life can be busy, and waiting in for a delivery can get in the way. That’s why, for any order we’ll let you know a date prior to the furniture being delivered, as well as an approximate time for delivery beforehand.

For orders to remote locations or outside the mainland UK, it can occasionally take a bit longer to organise delivery. All items will be sent through a carefully selected delivery partner.

Returns

While we hope that you’ll be thrilled with your new furniture item, if you’re not that’s fine too.

Items are created using the highest levels of skill and materials. But in the (very) unlikely event that you spot something not quite right, just let us know as soon as you spot the problem along with some photos and we’ll get it sorted. Rest assured that your statutory rights are unaffected.

When it comes to fitted items and fully painted furniture, due to their custom nature, items are supplied on a non-return basis. Painted items are they are very hard to obtain a flawless finish, it shows up all blemishes and defects within the timber, and they damage easily.

We can only accept returns on faulty items. To discuss a return call me on 07588, email michael@spraydex.co.uk or visit me at my work if you’re looking to return a smaller item.

Exceptions

Of course, the exception to this is if there is any damage to your piece that occurred during delivery or prior to leaving the workshop. We take the delivery service seriously and ensure packaging and what’s inside is wrapped up safe and tight.

Guarantee

There are exceptions that fall outside our guaranteed cover.

  • Pieces that you’ve changed or repaired yourself
  • Accidental damage, or anything that you’ve caused by neglecting your piece or not following the care guide. Spraydex can always help repair the damage, there might just be a small fee – which we’ll be able to tell you more when you get in touch
  • Normal wear and tear (like dents and scratches)
  • Natural changes, like fading and cracking in timber, and colour changes in fabric and paint
  • Rust damage – it’s easy to avoid, and we’ve included advice in our online care guide
  • If you take your piece outside the country you bought it from, or use it somewhere that’s not a home
  • Ex-display pieces

Extended Storage

We are happy to retain your furniture until a suitable delivery date for you; however, storage beyond 7 days will be liable for charge of £5 per day. This fee will be applied from day 8 for the storage of your item.
