Each furniture item tells a story; within each flaw, bump and indentation you can appreciate its age from the surface patina. With a nostalgic love for the Mid-Century style, Spraydex specialises in restoring furniture that was made in the 1950’s, 1960’s and 1970’s and adding a contemporary twist. The aged features enhance the unique appearance of the furniture.
- Preparation: sand the surface, remove fixings
- Repair: fill holes, glue together splits
- Masking: mask areas such as glass and surfaces you do not wish to paint
- Prime: undercoat to block stains and wood grain coming through
- Painted Furniture: spray evenly with furniture paint
- Finish: carefully remove masking, wax or stain desired surfaces and repair or replace fixings to keep its original functions
